A Message from Our Principal

Greetings Snowflake Intermediate Little Lobos,

The school year is racing forward and so are we. Our staff decided to re-set up an incentive trip that previously occurred at the Snowflake Intermediate School. That incentive trip was a day trip to Amazing Jake’s in Mesa, Arizona. For students to qualify for Amazing Jake’s they must meet the following criteria:

  • No Fs on quarter three or quarter four report cards.
  • No more than five tardies over the next five months.
  • No more than five absences over the next five months (we will consider illness on an individual basis).
  • No more than one office referral over the next five months.
  • No school suspensions.
  • A generally good attitude and desire to learn.

Amazing Jake’s trip is planned for May 23, 2018. We hope to get support from parents, guardians, and students to make this happen for our students.

Upcoming events include:

  • February 9: Staff In-service - No school for students
  • February 14: Navajo County Spelling Bee
  • February 19: President's Day - No school
  • February 23: PAWS assembly - citizenship
  • March 1: Music Is - All fourth and fifth graders
  • March 6: Renaissance Festival - All sixth graders
  • March 12-15: Spring Break - No school
  • March 23: Third quarter ends
  • March 29: Parent-teacher conferences
  • March 29-30: Early release at 11:10 a.m.
  • March 30: PAWS assembly - tolerance

Thank you so much for the privilege of working with your amazing children. Our students continue to rise above the rest in kindness and the desire to learn.

Sincerely,

Kim Lewis
