Blood Drive

Please join us on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, for a Snowflake High School Community Blood Drive. The blood drive is at 682 School Bus Lane in the gym from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. If interested, please contact Laurie Brimhall at (928) 536-4156 X7551, visit Blood Hero (sponsor code: snowflakehs), or contact a student council member. The White Mountain Symphony Orchestra would like to thank you for giving blood with a voucher for one ticket to a concert.

Donating blood helps transform a life and your own. Nathan was born with Gardos Channel Mutation, a rare disorder that causes his red blood cells to rapidly break apart. Every month, he relies on the generosity of strangers to donate lifesaving blood—a need that will most likely continue the rest of his life. “To all the donors out there - you have gone above and beyond to save my son's life. Without blood transfusions, I would have lost my little boy.” – Nathan’s Mom, April

Pony Express

On Thursday, January 31, students were able to have letters they wrote to loved ones delivered by the Pony Express. Riders arrived at the school, and students delivered their letters into a bag. Then they passed the bag on to other Pony Express riders. This was a fun experience for all!

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Snowflake High School's parent-teacher conferences will be on Wednesday, March 27 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the high school gym. Please note that there is no early release for high school on this day. We will be observing our regular schedule.

All other Snowflake schools throughout the district will have parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, March 28 at their sites. These schools will follow the usual early release schedule.
